The top of the range Nikon ProStaff P3 10×42 Binoculars feature a new Green finish , rubber armouring and lightweight fibreglass-reinforced polycarbonate resin design. This makes this pair of binoculars from Nikon particularly well suited to outdoor activities, such as camping and hiking, climbing or bird watching. The ProStaff P3 10×42 is also waterproof (to 1m for 10 minutes) and offers clear images being nitrogen filled, for fog-free operation. An especially wide a 62.9º apparent angle of view puts these ahead of many competitor models at this price point.
Further features include a close 3m minimum focus distance along with excellent image brightness from mirror prism surfaces with a silver-alloy coating. The top of the line 10×42 is an excellent hobbyist binocular with multilayer coated lenses for brighter images and a high-reflective silver-alloy coat applied to the mirror surfaces of the prisms.
The Nikon ProStaff P3 is available in this 8×42 model as well as ProStaff P3 8×42, ProStaff P3 8×30 and ProStaff 10×30 sizes.
The range features waterproofing (up to 1 m for up to 10 minutes) and a fog-free design to keep the view clear no matter what the weather does these are extra tough for any outdoor use. Rubber armouring protects the binoculars from knocks and bumps and they are also extremely comfortable in use.
